Group Affiliation

MMACA is an association groups, and the services provided by MMACA are mainly via the affiliated groups. Such benefits include public liability insurance cover for events run by affiliated groups (for more information contact us via info@mmaca.com), and use of the facilities at the Goodwood Model Park.

Affiliates may be informal gatherings of like minded friends, structured clubs or associations, or in some cases incorporated associations.

MACCA requires all members of affiliated groups to be financial members of MMACA. In most cases our affiliated groups handle the MMACA membership, rather than have their members individually join and pay their annual subscription.

Each group needs to have a contact who can liaise between the group and MMACA. It is also very desirable that each group have a representative on the MMACA committee. This is particularly true for the various groups that regularly use the facilities at the Model Park.

Affiliation requires on the payment of a one-off fee of $10.

Affiliation of a group will be terminated if there are no financial members of MMACA from that group.

To affiliate with MMACA, contact the secretary (secretary@mmaca.com) and organise for your members also to become members of MMACA (see the 'Membership' page) and pay the required affiliation fee.
